1. About Westminster Brief

Westminster Brief (westminsterbrief.co.uk) is an AI-assisted parliamentary research tool that helps users search, analyse, and export information from publicly available UK parliamentary records. It is operated as an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Parliament, any government department, or any political party.

Westminster Brief was built by civil servants who understand the time pressures involved in preparing for parliamentary debates, ministerial correspondence, and Select Committee appearances. The service is designed to bring together parliamentary research — Hansard, Written Questions, member profiles, and AI-generated briefings — in one place, saving researchers hours of manual work.
