1 The primary purpose of this Bill is to establish the role and functions of the Armed Forces Commissioner and to provide the Commissioner with the powers and duties required to carry out those functions. 2 The Act addresses the following matters: โ— Establishes the Armed Forces Commissioner role and their office. โ— Provides the Commissioner with new functions to investigate general Service welfare matters in the Armed Forces. โ— Establishes powers of entry for the Commissioner to Ministry of Defence sites and access to information for the purposes of carrying out investigations. โ— Sets outโ€ฆ
